Not to brag or anything, but there have been quite men a few men who fell for me over the years. Okay, so most men like Xena. She's tough, she's pretty, she's sexy. But some men fall for cute, funny, smart, bard types. Like me. 
I had only been traveling with Xena a few weeks when I met Sphaerus, in a tavern. He was a rugged, good looking, warrior. But he had a warlord for a father. Eventually, he killed his father and saved me and Xena. (My hero!) 
Iolaus, Hercules' cheerful, sweet sidekick and best friend, fell for me after I told him a story about everyone having a soul mate. I even got a kiss. (Talk about good pay!) 
A young monk in a healer's tavern was the next who went head over heels for my innocent charms. And boy, was it ever obvious! (Are they supposed to fall in love?) |
Talus, a handsome, young, medico, and a wonderful storyteller, had me thinking of love. But then I found out he was asking a woman named Sara to marry him. (okay, so HE didn't fall for ME, but I saw that twinkle in his eyes when he sat with me at night) 
Orion, stage named Homer, was one of the bards I met and befriended at the Academy for Preforming Bards, in Athens. I helped him stand up to his father, and not be afraid to stand up for his beliefs. He was very grateful. 
Perdicus, the soilder I was supposed to marry before I left Potedia, came to find me one day. We were married in a short ceremony, then quickly left for our honeymoon. The next day, he died at the end of Callisto's blade. (That cold-hearted monster!) 
Well, I don't believe it, but Xena says, that the next to fall for my charms and grace (well, I believe the charms and grace part) was Joxer. The clumsy, fumbling, warrior, wannabe. (Which is TOTALLY untrue) Pretty crazy, huh? 
After Cupid's son, Bliss, shot the same evil warlord who captured me and women from my village as slaves, Draco, he fell in love with me. I told him I would hate him if he ever killed another living thing or attacked them. Xena and Cupid decided to leave the love spell on him, so he would do good. (Isn't that sweet? He's doing all that just so I'll love him? Poor fool.) |
